The Municipal Manager published, in terms of section 13 of the Local Government Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000 read with section 162 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa Act 108 of 1996, the By-Law Relating to the Prevention of Nuisances, which comes into operation on the date of publication of this notice (i.e. 23 December 2014).
The by-law regulates, inter alia, the dumping of any objectionable matter and the general hygiene of a person's property in order to prevent the occurrence of public nuisances.
